Nailers Announce New "Ticket Exchange" Program

WHEELING, WV- The Wheeling Nailers, proud ECHL affiliate of the Pittsburgh Penguins and Montreal Canadiens, are pleased to announce a new benefit for season ticket holders, which will also create an opportunity for the casual fan. The new benefit is a "Ticket Exchange" Program, and it will be made available to all 2013-14 full season ticket holders.
With the new "Ticket Exchange" Program, 2013-14 Wheeling Nailers season ticket holders will be able to trade in tickets from a game that they will be unable to attend, and receive tickets of equal or lesser value to a future game of their choice, subject to availability. The exchange must occur no later than 48 hours prior to the game that the season ticket holder is unable to attend, and the future game must be chosen at the time of the exchange.
The exchanged tickets will go on sale to the general public immediately. That will give non-season ticket holders an opportunity to enjoy seats that they otherwise wouldn't be able to, thus preventing excellent seats from going to waste.
"I feel the new ticket exchange program will give our season ticket holders more flexibiltiy on games througout the year," said Director of Ticket Sales Paul Melanko. "This program also gives us the chance to re-sell that unused ticket to the general public, which could better enhance their game experience," he said.
For season ticket holders who miss a game, or miss the 48-hour deadline to utilize the "Ticket Exchange" Program, the Nailers will also have two redemption nights throughout the season. Any unused season tickets will be able to be exchanged for those two games, subject to availability.
