Mystics Waive Three

WASHINGTON, DC - The Washington Mystics announced today that they have waived players Megan Gustafson, Stella Johnson and Kiara Leslie.
In six games this season, Johnson averaged 2.0 points in 5.2 minutes of play. The Mystics originally signed Johnson on August 13, 2020, after being waived by the Chicago Sky. Johnson holds career averages of 3.9 points and 1.0 rebound in 15 games (two starts) with Chicago and Washington.
Leslie appeared in nine games for Washington this season, averaging 2.8 points and 2.2 rebounds in 9.6 minutes per game. Selected with the 10th overall pick in the 2019 WNBA Draft by Washington, Leslie has appeared in 28 games (10 starts) with the Mystics, where she registered career averages of 4.6 points and 2.8 rebounds in 17.9 minutes per game.
Gustafson originally signed with Washington on June 21 after the Mystics were granted a hardship by the WNBA. She played in three games with the Mystics, averaging 4.0 points and 4.7 rebounds in 12.3 minutes per game.
