Mystics Game Notes:
Natasha Cloud led the Mystics in scoring with 22 points on 7-17 from the field and 4-9 from three to go along with three assists and a steal in the contest.
This was her ninth career game scoring 20+ points, and her fifth time doing so this season.
With her second three she passed Alana Beard for third on the Mystics all-time three-pointers made list with 223 made from downtown with the franchise.
She has recorded at least one steal in 13 of her last 14 games, averaging 1.7 steals per game over that span.
With her 22 points tonight, she is now 12 points from passing Nikki McCray (1921) for eighth on the Mystics all-time scoring list.
Brittney Sykes posted 16 points, four rebounds, four assists, and five steals, while shooting 7-18 from the field and 2-6 from three.
This was her league-leading sixth game this season posting 5+ steals, as no other player has done so more than twice on the year.
She has now passed fellow teammate Ariel Atkins for the second-most games with 5+ steals in Mystics history (6) behind Alana Beard (12). Her six games this season with 5+ steals is the Mystics franchise record.
She has recorded at least one steal in all but two games this season, for a league-high 30 games with at least one steal.
Ariel Atkins scored 13 points and shot 4-for-7 from the field, including two three-point makes to extend her franchise record in made threes (312). She also recorded five rebounds and one steal in her 17 minutes played.
This was her first double-digit scoring performance since returning from an 11-game absence due to injury.
Myisha Hines-Allen filled up the stat sheet with six points to go along with a team-high eight rebounds, while also leading the way with six assists in the contest. She also added a steal while shooting 2-6 from the field and 1-2 from three.
This was her eighth career game posting 5+ rebounds and 5+ assists, and her second such performance this year.
