Mystics to host kids clinic

Washington, D.C. – The Washington Mystics and presenting sponsor Circle of Friend will host a two-day kids' clinic on Wednesday, August 18th and Thursday, August 19th from 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at MCI Center. Participants must be between the ages of 10-16. In addition to instructions from Mystics players and coaches, campers will receive health and nutrition tips from the team as well as the Circle of Friends staff.

"We are excited about the opportunity to host the camp this summer," Sr. Vice President of Mystics Business and Basketball Operations Judy Holland Burton, "Our goal is to make it a fun and educational experience."

Circle of Friends is a national grassroots social movement from the American Legacy Foundation to show support for women struggling to quit smoking, and to highlight the toll of tobacco-related disease on American women, their families and communities.
