Mystics Game Notes:
Player:
Mystics forward Elena Delle Donne netted a team-high 20 points on 7-of-17 shooting, adding four rebounds to her stat line.
Delle Donne has now scored 20+ points in three total games this season.
Washington guard Natasha Cloud dished out a team-high eight assists. Cloud has now recorded at least 5+ assists in a franchise record 22 consecutive games dating back to last season.
Cloud's 22 consecutive games with 5+ assists serves as the longest active streak in the WNBA, with the second-longest such streak at seven games (Sabrina Ionescu, NYL).
Additionally, this stands alone for the third-longest streak in WNBA history. Cloud joins Courtney Vandersloot (CHI) as the only players in WNBA history to record 20 or more consecutive games with 5+ assists.
Washington forward Alysha Clark (2006) eclipsed 2000 career points in her 286th career game, finishing with 11 points on 5-9 shooting, also hauling in a season-high eight rebounds.
Clark has now eclipsed double figures in two of her last three appearances.
Mystics rookie center Shakira Austin hauled in a team-high nine rebounds and has now hauled in 5+ rebounds in nine consecutive games.
This serves as the longest active streak by any rookie in the WNBA and is the longest such streak by a rookie since Satou Sabally (DAL) did so in 10 straight games from 8/8/20 to 9/9/20.
Additionally, this stands as the fourth-longest streak in franchise history and is the longest streak since Chamique Holdsclaw did so in 24 consecutive games during the 1999 WNBA season.
