Mystics Game Notes:

Brittney Sykes led the way with 25 points, shooting 8-19 from the field, while making a season-high 8-9 free-throws to go along with a season-high six steals in the contest.

This was her tenth career game scoring 25 or more points, and her fourth such game this season, all coming in the month of July.

Over ten games in July she averaged 19.9 ppg (11th in the league) and 2.7 spg (1st in the league) on 45.0% from the field and 35.3% from three.

This was the first time this season a player has recorded 25+ points and 6+ steals in a game, and she becomes just the third player in Mystics history to record such numbers (Alana Beard, Chamique Holdsclaw).

She has recorded at least four steals in each of her last three games, the longest such streak in the WNBA this season as well as the longest such streak in Mystics history.

Her 15 total steals over her last three games is the most she has had over a three-game span in her career, the most over such span by any player this season, and ties Alana Beard for the most steals over three games in Mystics history.

Syke's nine free throw attempts in the first quarter marked the most by a player in a single quarter this season.

Tianna Hawkins recorded her second double-double of the season with 17 points, ten rebounds, two assists, and two steals on 5-12 from the field, 1-3 from three, and 6-7 from the free-throw line.

This was her fourth career double-double and 17th career game scoring 15 or more points.

Both of her double-doubles this season have come against Atlanta, as she also recorded 13 points and 11 rebounds on June 28 in a win over the Dream.

Natasha Cloud chipped in seven points, four rebounds, four assists and two steals.

In six games since the All-Star break, she has averaged 2.2 steals per game, recording two or more steals in all but one game over that span.
