
Mystics Alana Beard to ring American Stock Exchange bell

Washington, D.C. â Mystics guard Alana Beard will help ring the bell of the American Stock Exchange on Friday, October 29th at 9:30 a.m. The event is in honor of the trick-or-treat UNICEF program. The program helps educate American children about their global peers and empowers them to help make a difference in the world by raising funds while Trick-or-Treating.
UNICEF is a global organization whose goal is to bring health, education, equality and protection to every child in the world. More than $123 million dollars has been raised to benefit UNICEF's lifesaving programs for children in over 158 countries.
"I am excited to be part of an event that helps make life better for children all over the world," said Beard.
