
Mystics Alana Beard to host Halloween time-out

WHO: Washington Mystics guard Alana Beard and 135 local 4th, 5th and 6th graders.
WHAT: Students from local elementary schools have been invited to trick-or-treat at Washington Sports & Entertainment offices and participate in a Halloween reading time-out.
WHEN: Thursday, October 28th from 10:15 a.m. â 12:30 p.m.

Washington, D.C. â Mystics guard Alana Beard will host a Halloween Haunted House and Reading Time-Out on Thursday, October 28th from 10:15 a.m. â 12:30 p.m. Over 135 students from local elementary schools have been invited to trick-or-treat at Washington Sports & Entertainment offices. Beard will lead students around the WSELP offices that have been transformed into a haunted house by staff members.
After trick-or-treating, students will be taken across the street to MCI Center for a brown bag lunch and a reading time-out with Beard in the Coca-Cola Theatre.
"I've always enjoyed Halloween," says Beard. "It'll be great to dress up and go trick-or-treating with the kids."
