Grand Rapids, Mich. - The Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League on Sunday announced that the Detroit Red Wings have recalled defenseman Anders Myrvold.
Myrvold, who last week became the 13th member of the Griffins summoned by Detroit this season, made his Red Wings debut in their 2-1 win at Calgary on Thursday. He logged 11:20 of ice time and a minus-one rating before being reassigned to the Griffins on Friday. Myrvold played in Grand Rapids' 4-2 home win over Chicago that night before rejoining the Red Wings yesterday.
The 28-year-old Myrvold is expected to be in the lineup tonight when Detroit hosts the Philadelphia Flyers at 7.
