Myrtle Beach Saturday Home Broadcasts Return to the CW21

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - For the fourth consecutive season, The CW21 (WWMB) will broadcast select Myrtle Beach Pelicans home games. The Sinclair Broadcast affiliate will televise every Pelicans Saturday home game throughout the 2019 season. The first of 10 broadcasts is set for 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, when the Birds host the Lynchburg Hillcats, affiliate of the Cleveland Indians.

"We are excited to once again be the exclusive television partner of the Myrtle Beach Pelicans Baseball during the 2019 season," stated WWMB CW21 General Manager Bill Ballard. "Pelicans Baseball is one more example of how WWMB CW21 & WPDE ABC15 are committed to local sports in our community. Not only will we air Pelicans games, we'll also air ACC Basketball, ACC Football, the South Carolina High School Basketball Championships, High School Football Championships and this fall we will continue to air High School Football games. Our commitment to local sports remains far and above any other broadcaster in the area."

Each Pelicans broadcast will begin at 6 p.m. for the 6:05 p.m. game. The complete channel listing for The CW21 is as follows:

Zach Bigley begins his first season as the Pelicans' lead broadcaster after serving in an assistant role in 2018 and will handle the play-by-play on all CW21 telecasts. He will be joined in the booth by a variety of color commentators, including Myrtle Beach High School head baseball coach Tim Christy.

A radio broadcast for all 140 Pelicans games is streamed at MyrtleBeachPelicans.com/Broadcast, the MiLB First Pitch app and TuneIn, which is a free download on all mobile devices. MiLB.tv, a subscription-based service, offers a video stream for all 70 home games and select road games.
