Munce, Rooneem Assigned To Mississippi From Norfolk

BILOXI, MS - The Mississippi Sea Wolves announced on Tuesday that goaltender Ryan Munce and forward Mark Rooneem have been assigned to the team by the Sea Wolves American Hockey League affiliate, the Norfolk Admirals.

Rooneem, a 6-2, 191-pound native of Hinton, Alberta, appeared in four games with Norfolk, recording one goal with six penalty minutes. Rooneem was the leading scorer for the Sea Wolves with three goals and two assists before being signed to a professional tryout offer by the Admirals two weeks ago.

Munce, a 6-2, 180-pound native of Mississauga, Ontario, appeared in his first eight career AHL games with the Admirals, going 2-6-0 with a 2.99 GAA and .901 save percentage. He registered his first career AHL victory on October 13 at Albany. The 22-year-old netminder was acquired by the Lightning from the Los Angeles Kings on January 20, 2007, in exchange for a 2008 fourth-round draft pick. In 89 ECHL games with Bakersfield, Reading, and Johnstown, Munce is 41-27-10 with a .914 saver percentage and a 2.85 goals-against average.
