Mudcats Announce New Promotions Schedule for 2019 Season

ZEBULON, N.C. - Plenty of exciting family fun is on tap in 2019 as the Carolina Mudcats today unveil an all-new promotional schedule featuring new weekly theme nights, souvenir giveaways, exciting new jersey designs and 14 fireworks shows for the upcoming season at Five County Stadium.
Featuring nearly a dozen souvenir giveaways, the new promotional schedule is chock-full of fun, unique items for baseball fans of all ages. The souvenir giveaway schedule begins with free magnet schedules handed out from April 11 through April 13, Agricultural Night "Grown in Carolina" t-shirts on April 27, plastic beer steins on May 9, Copa de la Diversión souvenir bobbleheads presented by O'Reilly Auto Parts on May 24, Mudcats themed Hawaiian shirts on June 8, Jesus Aguilar souvenir bobbleheads on June 15, BBQ spatulas for Battle of the Sauce Night on June 29, 90s themed souvenir tank tops on July 20, bottle openers on August 1, ECU and Mudcats themed souvenir hats on August 15 and a Mudcats themed, replica F15 souvenir figurine for Military Appreciation Night on August 24.
Plenty of specialty jerseys once again fill the Mudcats' schedule in 2019. These specialty jersey nights and events include Star Wars themed jerseys for Star Wars Night (Saturday, May 11) and Brewers themed jerseys presented by Walmart for Brewers Appreciation Weekend (June 15 - 16). The Mudcats will also wear patriotic themed jerseys for Memorial Day (May 27), the Mudcats for America Series (July 4 - 6) and Military Appreciation Night (August 24).
The specialty jerseys will be made available fans to purchase through an online auction available at auctions.carolinamudcats.com. All proceeds from the respective online auctions will benefit local charities with the Star Wars jersey benefiting the JDRF Triangle/Eastern NC Chapter and the Brewers themed Mudcats jerseys benefiting the Children's Miracle Network.
As previously announced, the Mudcats will also participate in Minor League Baseball's Copa de la Diversión series this year with four separate Copa de la Diversión Nights presented locally by Dental Center of Zebulon spread throughout multiple Friday nights throughout the season. The Mudcats will play in new culturally-relevant Copa de la Diversión inspired hats and jerseys on May 24, June 28, July 19 and August 9.
The Mudcats are also thrilled to present two celebrity appearances this season including actor Dennis Haskins, "Mr. Belding from Saved By the Bell." Haskins will be on hand to visit with fans and sign autographs on Family Campout Night on Friday, May 10. On July 20, Mudcats' fans will have an opportunity to take their chances in the soup line when actor Larry Thomas, "The Soup Nazi from Seinfeld" appears at Five County Stadium for 90s Night.
The special event schedule also includes two Dirty Dogs Spa Bark in the Park games on May 23 and June 27, Faith and Family Night (May 25), First Responders Night (June 14), two Super Splash Days (June 26, July 31), the 2nd Annual Battle of the Sauce Night (June 29), Negro League Appreciation Night (July 18) and Fan Appreciation Night featuring a player used batting practice jersey sweepstakes for fans (August 29). The Mudcats will additionally play on both Mother's Day (May 12) and Father's Day (June 16) this season. Both days will feature pregame catch on the field for children and their parents.
On top of all of the fantastic new promotions this season, the Mudcats are also excited to introduce three all-new weekly themes to their 2019 home schedule. Carolina's trifecta of new weekly themes include Five County Sunday, B.O.G.O. Monday and All-You-Can-Eat Tuesday.
The Mudcats' new Five County Sunday promotion applies to all daytime Sunday games at Five County Stadium and features $5.00 box seat tickets for all fans residing in one of Five County Stadium's five counties including Wake, Franklin, Nash, Johnston and Wilson counties. All Five County Sunday $5.00 tickets will be available through the Five County Stadium Box Office. Five County Sunday games also include free admission for Muddy's Buddies Kids Club members and discounted $2.00 bottled waters available at the Five County Stadium concession stands.
The new Buy One, Get One Monday, or B.O.G.O. Monday, promotion features a buy one (1) box seat ticket and get one (1) free ticket promotion for each Monday night home game throughout the season.
All-You-Can-Eat Tuesday includes all-you-can-eat Bright Leaf hot dogs and all-you-can-eat hush puppies from 6:00 p.m. through 8:30 p.m. for each Tuesday night home game. The all-you-can-eat menu will apply to every fan in attendance. Fans will be limited to three items per trip, beverages will not be included.
The weekly theme lineup also includes Thirsty Thursday every Thursday night and the ever-popular fireworks nights every Friday night for Family Friday Night Fireworks. The Mudcats will additionally host a Sunday Night Fireworks show on Sunday, May 26.
