
Mother Nature Puts Title Defense on Hold

KANSAS CITY, Kan. - The Kansas City T-Bones will have to wait another day to begin defense of their Northern League title as heavy rains have forced a postponement of tonight's game against the Winnipeg Goldeyes.
Due to inclement weather, tonight's game has been cancelled and will be played as part of a doubleheader on June 2. The first game on June 2 will begin at 6:05.
The championship celebration previously scheduled for tonight has been moved to tomorrow night. Fans should arrive around 6:00 p.m. Saturday to join in the pre-game championship celebration which includes t-shirt and magnet giveaways, the ceremonial raising of the Championship Banner and the Championship Ring presentation.
