Costner Team Name Finals Now Online

The Lake County baseball stadium project being spearheaded by Kevin Costner's ownership group is currently holding a "Name the Team" contest with its first official team sponsor, Allstate Insurance.

Thousands of fans have submitted their suggestions and the new team name has been narrowed down to five finalists. Fans can now log onto www.lakecountybaseball.com to see the five finalists and make their pick for a team name.

The contest will continue to run until the winner is announced Wednesday, May 27 at the Grand Ballroom at KeyLime Cove Indoor Waterpark in Gurnee, IL. The new team name, colors and logo will also be revealed at this celebration that includes prizes, raffles, live entertainment and more.
