
Morlang Comes Right Back

BRIDGEPORT, CT - The American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, top affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders, have re-signed right wing John Morlang to a professional tryout contract. The Sound Tigers released Morlang from a PTO Friday, but he has returned for his sixth stint with the team this season, including training camp last fall.
Morlang has one goal, four assists, five points and 15 penalty minutes in 23 AHL games with the Sound Tigers, as well as 13 goals, 17 assists, 30 points and 40 penalty minutes in 33 games with the United Hockey League ¬â¢s Danbury Trashers this season. He had a goal and three assists and was a +5 for Danbury last night.
The Sound Tigers will host the Worcester IceCats today at 4:05 p.m. in a game that will be broadcast live on 600 WICC-AM and at www.soundtigers.com.
