Halifax Mooseheads News Release
Halifax Mooseheads have released three players from their training camp roster, General Manager Marcel Patenaude announced today.
The release of defenceman Shane Peterson, along with forwards Brent Lynch and Andrew Joudrey reduces Halifax's roster to 31, with 4 goaltenders, 11 defencemen and 16 forwards still in camp.
Lynch and Peterson, both 19-year-olds, will be placed on waivers.
"Brent Lynch was a member of our team last year and worked hard for us," Patenaude said. "We feel that he deserves an opportunity to continue in major junior hockey and that making him available to other teams at this time through the waiver process is the best way to help him have that chance."
