Mooseheads release Colby Pridham from training camp roster
September 12, 2005 - Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL)
Halifax Mooseheads News Release
Halifax Mooseheads General Manager Marcel Patenaude announced today the Mooseheads have released forward Colby Pridham from the team's training camp roster.
The 18-year-old Pridham was signed by the Mooseheads as a free agent Dec. 8, 2004. His Junior A rights are owned by the Charlottetown Abbies of the Maritime Junior A Hockey League, where he played last season.
"We felt that Pridham had a good training camp," Patenaude said. "Unfortunately, with the number of forwards we have on our roster, it would be difficult for us to give him the amount of ice time he needs for his development.
"As a player, we feel that he has a lot of potential and we will continue to monitor his progress. He will remain on our protected list and will be subject to recall"
Pridham's release reduces the Mooseheads' training camp roster to 26.
