
Mooseheads Recall Winger Justin Belangerr

Halifax Mooseheads have recalled 18-year-old winger Justin Belanger for this week's home and home series with the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles, Halifax Head Coach / General Manager Cam Russell confirmed today.
The 6'00", 170 lbs. Belanger, acquired as a free agent Oct. 21, 2008, has been playing this season with the Halifax Lions in the Maritime Junior A Hockey League, where he has recorded six goals and six assists in 23 games, along with 29 penalty minutes.
Belanger will report to the team immediately and will be available for action when the Mooseheads travel to Sydney tomorrow for a 7:00 p.m. game with the Screaming Eagles. The two teams will play back at Halifax Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. to complete the two-game "Battle of Nova Scotia" where the teams will collect food donations from fans in aid of Feed Nova Scotia.
