
Mooseheads acquire Vlasanek

Halifax Mooseheads have acquired 19-year-old Czech right-winger Radek Vlasanek from the Acadie-Bathurst Titan, Mooseheads' General Manager Marcel Patenaude announced today.
Vlasanek, 6'03", 225 lbs, selected 16th overall by the Baie-Comeau Drakkar in the 2006 CHL Import Draft from Vitkovice Hockey Club of the Czech Republic, scored 13 goals and added nine assists, for 22 points in 65 games with Drummondvile last season, while amassing 59 minutes in penalties.
Halifax will send a sixth-round pick in the 2010 QMJHL Entry Draft to Acadie-Bathurst in return.
