Moose Sign Pair From Kelowna Rockets

The Manitoba Moose today announced they have signed left-winger Lucas Bloodoff and goaltender Mark Guggenberger to amateur tryout contracts.

Bloodoff (BLOO-dohf), 20, comes to the Moose from the Kelowna Rockets of the Western Hockey League. This past season with the Rockets, Bloodoff appeared in 51 games where he accumulated 28 points (13g & 15a) along with 95 penalty minutes. The Castlegar, BC native also played in 12 playoff games with the club where he recorded nine points (5g & 4a) and 21 penalty minutes. He has played in 259 career WHL games with Kelowna for 124 points (64g & 60a) and 356 penalty minutes.

Guggenberger, 21, also comes to the Moose from the Kelowana Rockets of the Western Hockey League. The Richfield, MN native started in 16 games with the Rockets this season for a 4-11-1 record, 3.45 GAA and 0.880 save percentage. In 10 playoff games this campaign, he finished with a 5-4-1 record, 2.93 GAA and 0.904 save percentage.
