
Moose Re-Assign Jeff Smith to Columbia

The Manitoba Moose, the AHL affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks, announced they have re-assigned left winger Jeff Smith to the Columbia Inferno of the ECHL.
Smith, 24, has played in one game with the Moose this season against the Peoria Rivermen on Oct. 21, recording 12 penalty minutes. The Regina, SK native has now appeared in 58 career games in the AHL with the Philadelphia Phantoms and Moose, scoring two goals and six points, along with 150 penalty minutes. Last season, with the Phantoms, Smith scored one goal and four assists for five points and 116 penalty minutes.
