
Moose re-assign Burrows to Columbia

Today the Manitoba Moose, the AHL affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks, announced they have reassigned forward Alexandre Burrows to the Columbia Inferno of the ECHL.
Burrows has played in two games with the Moose so far this season, registering no points. He played back on December 6 vs. Rochester and again this afternoon in Hamilton. In 45 games with the Inferno this season, he has scored 22 goals and 33 assists for 55 points, while accumulating 142 penalty minutes. He was Columbia's lone representative in the ECHL All-Star Game and registered one assist.
In 2002-03, Burrows split time with the Greenville Grrrowl and the Baton Rouge Kingfish of the ECHL. He played in 53 games with the Grrrowl scoring nine goals and 26 points along with 201 PIM. With the Kingfish, he scored four goals and six points and collected 64 PIM before the club folded.
Burrows was signed as a free agent by the Moose on October 21, 2003.
