Montreal recalls Sergei Costitsyn from Hamilton

MONTREAL, QC - Montreal Canadiens General Manager Bob Gainey announced today that forward Sergei Kostitsyn has been recalled from the Hamilton Bulldogs to the Canadiens.
Kostitsyn, 22, has played in 16 games with the Bulldogs this season earning 14 points (five goals, nine assists) and 18 penalty minutes. The native of Novopolotsk, Belarus held a nine-game point streak from March 3rd until March 20th where he accumulated 13 points (four goals, nine assists). In 52 games with the Canadiens this season, the 6-foot, 190-pound right wing has registered 23 points (eight goals, 15 assists) along with 64 penalty minutes. Kostitsyn was drafted by Montreal in the 7th round, 200th overall in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
The Hamilton Bulldogs will finish their five-game road trip today with a 5:00 p.m. EST game against the Milwaukee Admirals.
