
Bulldogs fall to Admirals, 3-2

Milwaukee, Wisconsin - The Hamilton Bulldogs were defeated by the Milwaukee Admirals 3-2 on Sunday night. Mike Santorelli had two third period goals to win the game for the Admirals.
The Bulldogs opened the game's scoring at 3:31 of the first period. Mathieu Aubin slid a pass to Ryan White, who released a wrist shot that soared past Milwaukee starting goaltender Mark Dekanich.
The Admirals tied the game 1-1 at 10:14 of the opening frame. Cal O'Reilly fired a shot that was saved by Hamilton starting goaltender Cedrick Desjardins. The rebound bounced onto the stick of Kelsey Wilson, who snapped a shot past Desjardins.
Mike Glumac scored at 3:21 of the middle frame to give Hamilton a 2-1 lead. Ben Maxwell sent a pass to Doug Janik, who blasted a shot towards the net. Mike Glumac redirected the puck behind Dekanich.
Milwaukee scored at 9:10 of the final frame. Franson collected the puck at the right point before hammering a shot towards the net. Mike Santorelli tipped the puck past Desjardins for the goal. Santorelli scored at 12:04 to give the Admirals a 3-2 lead. While on the power play, Mark Matheson sent a pass to Santorelli, who rifled a shot that beat Desjardins. Cody Franson also earned an assist on the goal, his third of the game.
The Bulldogs return to Copps Coliseum on Tuesday, March 24th for a 7:30 p.m. game against the San Antonio Rampage.
