
Monsters Announce Jam-Packed Promotional Schedule

Following the success of their inaugural season, the 2008-09 Lake Erie Monsters season is going to be even bigger and better, and fans can get their tickets for all the action beginning this weekend. Single game tickets for the 2008-09 American Hockey League season at Quicken Loans Arena will go on sale this Saturday, September 13th, at 10:00 a.m.
The 40-game home schedule, which begins Saturday, October 11th, is chock-full of an unprecedented number of exciting promotions and cool, free giveaways. (Please see the complete promotional schedule attached). Fans can take advantage of the following specials this season:
EVERY WEDNESDAY: College Night presented by Taco Bell and Cleveland Plus - save $3 off any ticket at the Quicken Loans Arena Box Office with a valid college ID. There are seven Wednesday games this season.
EVERY FRIDAY: Dollar Dog Fridays, presented by Pepsi, Sugardale and FSN Ohio - hot dogs and sodas are just $1 each; PLUS free Tri-C Postgame Family Open Skate. There are six Friday games this season.
EVERY SUNDAY: Arby's Family Value Day - purchase four to six tickets and receive the same number of Arby's combo meals and Monsters ski hats, all for one discounted price. There are 10 Sunday games this season.
Several Sunday games - October 12th, November 16th, December 7th, January 11th and March 8th - will also feature free postgame autograph sessions with the full Monsters team.

The second season of Monsters hockey at The Q will also feature special celebrity appearances, including All-Pro Josh Cribbs of the Cleveland Browns on February 28th, a special Cleveland sports legends night on March 6th, and others to be announced at a later date.
