
Monarchs Will Debut Third Jersey On October 30

MANCHESTER, NH - The Manchester Monarchs, the American Hockey League affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, will wear the newly designed third jersey on the last home game of a multi-home game weekend, debuting on Sunday, October 30 against the Hartford Wolf Pack, the team announced on Thursday.
The jersey, designed by the Monarchs and produced by The Hockey Company, is gray with purple, black and gold trim and solid purple shoulders. It features the word "Manchester" in purple, black and gold block letters across the chest, with Manchester running from left to right in a declining manner. The jersey also features a throwback collar tie with a white lace.
The Monarchs third jersey will be worn for 10 games at the Verizon Wireless Arena during the 2005-06 season.

Kings Set To Open 2005 Training Camp
64 players hit the ice on Tuesday, September 13 at the Toyota Sports Center in El Segundo
LOS ANGELES, CA - The Los Angeles Kings, the parent club of the Manchester Monarchs, are set to officially open their 2005 NHL Training Camp with their first full on-ice session on Tuesday, September 13, at 9:30 a.m. at the Toyota Sports Center in El Segundo. A total of 64 players are scheduled to attend this year's training camp and fans are welcomed to attend all on-ice practices.
Recently acquired players Jeremy Roenick, Pavol Demitra, Craig Conroy, Valeri Bure and Mathieu Garon highlight the list of 64 players invited to Training Camp. Of the 64 players, seven are goalies, 21 are defensemen and there are 36 forwards. The Kings camp includes players born in 11 different countries: Canada (36), the United States (15), the Czech Rebublic (three), Russia (three), and one each from Japan, Serbia, Sweden, Kazakhstan, England, Slovenia and Finland. There are 13 non-roster invitees this year.
There will be three groups of players at the start of camp, with each group available to the media at the completion of their workout session. Each day consists of on-ice workouts and off-ice sessions.
