MANCHESTER, N.H. - The Manchester Monarchs, proud ECHL affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, announced that Monarchs Head Coach, Rich Seeley, Boston College Head Women's Coach, Katie Crowley and Concord native and Gold Medal winner, Tara Mounsey, are scheduled to attend the Hockey for Hope event that will take place on June 12 at the Verizon Wireless Arena.

Seeley is the head coach of the Monarchs and only two-time captain in franchise history. In his first season as a professional coach, Seeley led the Monarchs to the East Division title and a berth in the Kelly Cup Playoffs. During his time as a player, Seeley skated in 399 AHL games and won the Monarchs Community Service Award twice.

Crowley has led the bench for the Boston College Women's Hockey Team since 2007. During her time at The Heights, Crowley has led her team to four NCAA Frozen Four appearances and has won three Beanpot Titles and a Hockey East Tournament Title. Crowley has been named the STX/AHCA Division I Women's Coach of the Year the past two seasons, after seeing her team compile a 74-4-2 record in that span.

As a player, Crowley was named the ECAC's Ice Hockey Player of the Year in 1997 and won the Ivy League Player of the year three times while attending Brown University. Crowley was a member of the US Olympic team that won a gold medal in 1988, a silver medal in 2002 and a bronze medal in 2006. Crowley retired with a tie for the third-most Olympic goals in US Women's National team history (14).

Mounsey, a native of Concord, N.H., also played collegiately at Brown University where she was twice a finalist for the Patty Kazmaier Award, given to the top player in NCAA Division I Women's Ice Hockey. Mounsey was a part of the 1998 US Women's Ice Hockey Team that won a gold medal at the Olympics in Nagano, Japan, and a silver medal in the 2002 Olympic Games. Mounsey is currently an assistant coach at Buckingham Brown and Nichols School in Cambridge, Mass.
