Monarchs announce 2005-06 promotional schedule

Manchester Monarchs News Release


The Manchester Monarchs, the primary affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, will give away $10,000 in cash and have a second indoor fireworks show to highlight the 2005-06 promotional schedule.

The first 3,000 fans on Saturday, October 29, will receive envelopes filled with cash prizes totaling $10,000 for the Monarchs Give Back The Greenbacks promotion. Different denominations of money will be in 1,700 envelopes and the remaining 1,300 envelopes will hold $5 gift certificates to the Monarchs Pro Shop.

The Monarchs will hold the largest indoor fireworks show in New England, not once but twice this season. The annual New Year's Eve fireworks show will be held on Saturday, December 31, following the Monarchs game against the Albany River Rats. A special fireworks show is planned for Tuesday, February 28, to help in the celebration of Max's Birthday Party.

Monarchs Care Golf Invitational: The Manchester Monarchs will hold their annual Monarchs Care Golf Invitational at Candia Woods Links on Columbus Day, Monday, October 10, 2005.

The fifth player in every foursome will be a Monarchs player or member of the coaching staff! Come see the Monarchs 2005-06 team before they hit the ice for the home opener on Saturday, October 15, 2005.

Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the shotgun start is scheduled for 10 a.m. Buffet, awards, raffles and auctions will take place following the tournament around 3 p.m.
