Moller, Elkins Summond To Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES, CA - The Los Angeles Kings, the parent club of the Manchester Monarchs, have recalled the following two players from Manchester -- forwards Corey Elkins and Oscar Moller-- Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced today.

Elkins, 24, made his NHL debut last week and has played in two games with the Kings this season, recording one goal and zero penalty minutes. The 6-foot-3, 216-pound native of West Bloomfield, Michigan, has also played in 31 games with Manchester this season and has a team leading 20 points (8-1220).

Moller, 20, has played in nine games with the Kings, recording two points (1-12) and zero penalty minutes. The 5-foot-10, 186-pound native of Stockholm, Sweden, has played in 26 games with Manchester this season and has a team co-leading nine goals and is tied for second in points with 19.

Following the holiday break, the Monarchs return to action with a 7:00 p.m. contest against the Portland Pirates at the Cumberland County Civic Center on Saturday, December 26.
