MOBILE, ALA. (JULY 30, 2014) - The Mobile BayBears (24-14, 66-41) continued their dominance of the Generals (17-22, 48-60) Wednesday with a 7-3 victory in Jackson's final game this season at Hank Aaron Stadium. Two batters later, Mark Thomas picked up an RBI two-bagger and two batters after him Taylor Harbin hit a sacrifice fly and the score was 7-0 BayBears after three innings.

Jackson showed some grit as they picked one run up in the fourth as Kevin Rivers (0x3, RBI) added a sacrifice fly to score Pat Kivlehan (1x3, 2 R, HR, 2 RBI, BB) with for Jackson's first run.

Two innings later Kivlehan came back to the plate with Ketel Marte (1x4, R) on base and hit his team-leading eighth home run to cut the lead to four at 7-3.

The Generals were held to just five hits on the night as Diamondbacks top prospect Archie Bradley (2-1, 3.97) allowed only three runs on four hits and struck out six in 6.0 innings of work to earn his second Mobile victory. Pike took the loss for Jackson as gave up seven runs on seven hits and could not get out of the seven-run third inning.

In the good news column for Jackson Jordy Lara (1x4, 2B) did pick up his first Double-A hit with a fourth inning double.

The Generals will make the long bus trip home to open a homestand with the Montgomery Biscuits on another Dollar Thursday at the Ballpark in Jackson.
