Your Six-Time Champion Milwaukee Wave came up short Saturday Night at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena, losing to the Syracuse Silver Knights, 3-6.

"Offensively we just couldn't execute tonight," said Head Coach Giuliano Oliviero. "We had a few moments where we could of we could have made that extra pass and play some unselfish soccer but that wasn't the case. It's one of those games we let slip away from us. Bottom line, it's just not good enough."

Wave midfielder, number 26, Ian Bennett had two goals on the night, while number 14, Daniel Mattos added a power play goal late.

The Milwaukee Wave have some time get ready for the arch-rival Chicago Mustangs as they come to town for the traditional New Year's Eve game, Saturday, December 31st.

Kick-off is set for 3:05pm.
