
Mississippi Miracles get best of Arkansas RiverCatz

PINE BLUFF, Ark. - After three straight defeats, the Mississippi Miracles finally got the upperhand over the Arkansas RiverCatz following a 111-102 victory Saturday night at the Pine Bluff Convention Center.
Now winners of their last four of five games, the win moved Mississippi to 5-7 on the season, while the RiverCatz dropped to 8-5 to close 2006.
Down by a point at halftime, the Miracles outscored Arkansas 30-21 to take an 82-74 advantage into the fourth quarter.
Arkansas' Jeremy Bell led all scorers with 28 points in the contest.
The Miracles were led by Tyrone Davis' 26 points. The team also got 17 points off the bench by former RiverCat Albert Robinson in 16 minutes of action.
The RiverCatz are off until Thursday when they host the Monterrey Veneno at 7:05 p.m. at the Pine Bluff Convention Center.
