Buffalo Silverbacks News Release

Buffalo, NY. The ABA Buffalo Silverbacks held off a fourth quarter comeback by the Cape Cod Frenzy and won 118-110. Johnny "Spyderman" Tyson led the way with 28 points, 12 rebounds and 11 monster blocks. Lamar Castile and his unstoppable crossover brought home 24 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists.

Tyson was dominant all night in the low post and had his best performance of the year to date. Castile, who entered the game about half way through the first quarter, came off the bench and lit the floor up, giving the Silverbacks just the spark they needced to buy the Frenzy by the half leading 63-35. After maintaining a lead of more than 30 points in the third, Buffalo pulled their started and let them take a well deserved rest. Cape Cod had a strong showing in the 4th, but it was just too much ground for them to cover.
