
Mississauga Steelheads Trade Dawson Carty to Kitchener

MISSISSAUGA, ON - The Mississauga Steelheads announced today that they have traded goaltender, Dawson Carty to the Kitchener Rangers in exchange for an 8th round pick in 2015.
Carty, a native of Mississauga, Ontario was selected by the Steelheads in the 6th round, 113th overall at the 2012 OHL Priority Selection. The 6'3, 176 lb. goaltender appeared in 12 games last season for the Steelheads, posting a 3.88 goals against average, and a 0.886 save percentage.
"Dawson has been a valued member of our organization and we wish him the best of luck in all his future hockey endeavours," added Steelheads Assistant General Manager and Associate Coach, Jason Nobili.
