
Colts Acquire Goaltender from Rangers

Barrie, ON- Barrie Colts General Manager Jason Ford announced today that they have completed a trade with the Kitchener Rangers.
The Barrie Colts acquire goaltender Jordan DeKort from the Kitchener Rangers in exchange for a 10th round pick in 2017.
In 2011 DeKort was drafted by the Windsor Spitfires in the 2nd round, 30th overall. The Markham, Ontario native appeared in 35 games with the Spitfires before being dealt to the Kitchener Rangers on October 18th, 2013.
The 6'4" 202lbs netminder played 34 games in 2013-14 posting a 3.83 GAA and a 0.879 SV% on a Rangers team who failed to make the playoffs for only their ninth time in franchise history dating back to 1963.
In 69 career OHL games Jordan DeKort has posted a 4.01 GAA, 0.881 SV% and a 13- 30-3-3 record.
