Jamestown Jammers News Release
AUBURN, N.Y. - The Auburn Doubledays had an answer for the Jamestown Jammers every time Thursday night and scored two runs in the sixth inning to top the Jammers, 4-2, at Falcon Park.
The Jammers scored in the first and fifth inning, but Auburn immediately tied the game both times before scoring two runs off the Jamestown bullpen to extend their division lead to two games. Jamestown falls to 35-37 and is eliminated from playoff contention.
Ryan Goetz, Brian McConkey and Viosergy Rosa each had two hits for the Jammers, but it was the offense's inability to stretch the lead in the early innings that cost the team.
