With the sacks packed, Dean Green walked to score Connecticut's first run. Two batters later Jeff Holm hit a two-run single to extend the lead to 3-0.

Connecticut added a run in the bottom of the third on a Matt Perry RBI single and finished the scoring with an RBI double off the bat of Holm.

Holm finished the night 2-for-3 with three RBI's, while Chad Wright reached base all four times he came up with a single and three walks.

The Tigers will play four games over the final three days against the Lowell Spinners, starting tomorrow evening with a doubleheader. There will be two seven-inning games player with the first pitch of game one set for 5:05 PM at Dodd Stadium.
