Corpus Christi Hooks News Release
CORPUS CHRISTI - In an attempt to beat anticipated deteriorating weather conditions, MIRA'S Championship Saturday at Whataburger Field will be bumped up four hours tomorrow.
Ballpark gates open at 8 a.m., and semifinal action begins an hour later. The second semifinal is tentatively scheduled for 11:30, with the final set for approximately 2 p.m.
"Our operations and grounds leads talked with tournament officials this morning, and we agreed moving up the schedule gives us the best chance to get those games in," Hooks communications director Matt Rogers said.
MIRA'S Championship Saturday tickets are $6.50 for adults and $4.50 for youth ages 4-18. Children 3-and-under are admitted free of charge.
The Whataburger Field box office opens at 7:30 a.m. Saturday.
