Career Highlights: 2016 - Ranked among Lancaster's leaders in wins (T-3rd), starts (T-3rd), innings pitched (4th) and strikeouts (5th). Opened the year by posting a 2-0 record, 2.63 ERA and .190 opponent batting average in 5 appearances (4 starts) April 7-May 3. Capped this run by holding Inland Empire to 1 hit and 2 runs over 5 innings of work. Next victory came May 27 vs. High Desert, surrendering 1 unearned run in 6 frames. Thru 5 July outings (4 starts), went 2-2 with a 3.91 ERA and .214 opponent batting average. Also averaged 10.2 strikeouts per 9 innings. Saddled with a loss July 9 at Inland Empire despite permitting 3 runs (2 earned) in a season-high 7 frames. Won at Bakersfield July 29 after tossing 6 innings of 1-run ball. Held Modesto to 3 runs and 5 hits over 5 innings August 4. Engaged the 66ers on August 11 and registered first career save, striking out 2 in a perfect 9th. Completed JetHawks tenure by striking out 7 in a 3-inning start at Lake Elsinore on August 21. Went 5-5 with a 4.58 ERA and .246 opponent average (9 HR) as a starter. Excelled out of the bullpen, allowing 5 earned runs in 16 2/3 innings for a 2.70 ERA. The California League managed a .221 batting average (0 HR) during his relief assignments. Blanked San Antonio over 6 innings in both of this Texas League starts. Matched career-high with 9 strikeouts August 28 and yielded just 1 hit September 3 at Wolff Stadium. Pitched against Midland in Game 2 of the TL South Division Series, allowing 3 runs on 1 hit and 4 walks (1 IBB) in 1 1/3 innings.

2015 - Polished off a 9-3 record and 1.70 ERA in 14 games (11 starts) for Tri-City and Quad Cities. Registered a 0.97 WHIP and faced 262 batters while allowing only 1 home run. Joined the ValleyCats in late-June after beginning the season in extended spring training. First action was a June 21 start at Connecticut. Tagged with the loss despite holding the Tigers to 1 unearned run over 5 frames. Picked up 3 victories after pitching shutout ball in 3 consecutive assignments (13 1/3 IP) July 1-12. Made Midwest League debut July 30 at Beloit, allowing 3 runs (2 ER) on 5 hits and 2 walks in 2 1/3 innings of relief. Proceeded to permit 2 total runs (1 ER) over his remaining 6 Quad Cities assignments - all starts. This run covered 27 innings and earned him River Bandits Pitcher of the Month for August. His 0.33 August ERA was the lowest among all full-season minor leaguers. Lone loss was at Fort Wayne on August 12 when he 1-hit the TinCaps over 5 innings. Struck out 9 and walked 2 in 7 hitless innings August 24 vs. Clinton. LumberKings eventually managed a 1-out, 9th-inning single in an 18-0 River Bandits romp. The two-time Midwest League Pitcher of the Week ended the regular season with a 22-inning scoreless streak.

Career Notes: 63% of his outs (via batted balls) have occurred on the ground. Strikeout-per-9 IP rate has risen from 7.1 to 8.8 over the past 2 campaigns.

College Notes: Teammates with Corpus Christi outfielder Ramon Laureano at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M in Miami, OK. Both signed by Astros scout Jim Stevenson.

Career Highlights: 2016 - Went 2-0 with a 3.32 ERA in 38 appearances for Quad Cities, Lancaster and Corpus Christi. Ranked 4th in the Astros system in saves, converting all 14 opportunities. Fanned 92 batters against 27 walks in 62 1/3 innings, averaging 3.41 Ks for every free pass and 13.3 strikeouts per 9 innings. Registered a 1.27 WHIP and surrendered 7 home runs. Opened the year with Quad Cities of the Midwest League. Earned the victory on April 20 after blanking Wisconsin over 3 1/3 innings. Carried a 2.00 ERA and .133 opponent batting average into his final River Bandits appearance - May 2 at Great Lakes. The Loons landed 3 runs on 7 hits in his 1 2/3 frames. Permitted 4 runs (3 ER) thru 1 1/3 innings in California League debut May 10 at Rancho Cucamonga. Kept the opposition off the scoreboard in 4 consecutive outings May 20-June 1, totaling 8 2/3 IP. Ignited surge by striking out a career-high six batters over a 4-inning performance May 20 at High Desert. Matched the K total in 2 2/3 innings vs. Modesto. Did not allow a run in 5 consecutive assignments July 2-16. During this stretch, authored 4 saves and struck out 14 against 3 walks and 3 hits in 9 innings. Limited the hitter-friendly California League to a .224 batting average. Earned a save in his official Texas League debut August 7 at Midland, hurling a pair of shutout innings. Ended regular year with six straight scoreless appearances (7 IP). Struggled with men on base, allowing 5 of 6 inherited runners to score. Charged with 4 unearned runs in 1 2/3 postseason frames. 2015 - Made 18 appearances between Greeneville, Tri-City and Quad Cities, logging a 0.98 ERA and 0.76 WHIP. Penned 37 strikeouts against 9 walks and 12 hits in 27 2/3 frames. Went 6-for-7 in save chances. Began pro career in the Appalachian League where 5 of his 6 appearances were of the scoreless variety. Did not allow a run in 7 of 8 New York-Penn League outings. Joined the River Bandits on August 27 and finished the regular year by spinning 7 scoreless innings over 4 appearances. Worked a perfect 8th in Game 1 of the Midwest League Western Division Semifinal against Cedar Rapids. Was then shipped to Midland to aid the Hooks with their postseason run. Allowed 1 run on 3 walks and a hit batsman while recording 2 outs in Game 3 of the Texas League South Division Series.

Career Notes: Owns a 1.11 WHIP and averages 12.9 strikeouts per 9 innings. Is 21 of 22 in save opportunities.

College Notes: Established Islanders records in appearances (101) and saves (31) in 4-year tenure. Racked up 148 strikeouts (121 IP), which slots 7th on the school's all-time list.

Career Highlights: 2016 - Tied for 3rd among Astros farmhands in wins. Also, tied for 4th in the system in starts and slotted 5th in innings pitched. Owned the best winning percentage (.714) among California League Pitchers. Tied for 4th in the circuit in victories, and averaged 2.40 walks per 9 innings, which ranked 5th among CL starters. Surrendered 21 home runs, the 3rd-highest total in the league. Tabbed Lancaster Pitcher of the Month for April, going 1-0 with a 2.29 ERA in 4 assignments (3 starts). Struck out 15 and walked 3 in 19 2/3 frames, holding the loop to a .276 average and 1 home run. Won 3 consecutive appearances (2 starts) May 13-24, permitting 2 earned runs over 15 innings. Hurled a career-high 8 innings while allowing 2 runs in a June 29 triumph at High Desert. Logged a 9.71 ERA while the opposition batted .331 with 12 home runs over 6-start stretch July 5-August 7. Modesto landed the final blow of this slide, plating 10 runs on 10 hits (4 homers) in his 5-inning August 7 outing. Rebounded by going 3-0 with a 2.19 ERA in 4 starts to close out the year. 2015 - Led Quad Cities in wins and strikeouts, and tied for 1st in starts. Also, slotted 2nd on the team in innings pitched. Excelled in April, going 2-1 with a 1.93 ERA and .206 opponent batting average in 4 games (3 GS). Earned a victory May 23 vs. Peoria after tossing 4 shutout frames of relief. Matched career-high by striking out 10 batters in a 6-inning triumph June 12 opposite Lansing. Hurled 7 scoreless frames to beat Peoria July 2. Did not allow a run in back-to-back starts July 26 and August 2, going 5 innings each time out. In the latter performance, struck out 8 of the 17 Wisconsin hitters he faced. Made only 3 appearances (2 GS) in July, but boasted a 1.84 ERA and .189 batting average against. Lost August 9 to Dayton despite spinning 7 innings of 2-run ball. In 10 2nd-half assignments (54 1/3 IP), struck out 38 while issuing only 8 walks. Featured a 2.92 ERA at home compared to a 5.13 mark on the road. Received a no-decision in Game 2 of the Midwest League Quarterfinals. Held Cedar Rapids to 1 unearned run on 4 hits and 2 walks while striking out 6 in 6 2/3 frames.

2014 - Averaged 10.3 strikeouts per 9 innings in first pro campaign. Authored a 1.50 ERA and .177 opponent batting average in final 5 assignments. Earned the victory and was named Appalachian League Pitcher of the Week after striking out 10 batters over 5 innings August 25. Bluefield managed only 1 unearned run, 4 hits and 1 walk in what was his final outing of the season.

Career Notes: Has surrendered 31 home runs for a rate of 1.1 per 9 innings. Averaged 3.40 strikeouts per walk. Selected in the 20th round of the June 2012 draft out of St. Anne's Secondary School in Clinton, Ontario.
