Minor League Baseball Remains Low-Cost Form of Family Entertainment
June 22, 2015 - South Atlantic League (SAL1)
Lexington Legends News Release
Minor League Baseball has announced the results of a study of the costs of attending games. The average cost for a family of four to enjoy a Minor League Baseball game this season is only $64.18, a price that includes parking, two adult tickets, two child tickets, four hot dogs, two sodas, two beers and a program or scorecard.
"The Lexington Legends have always emphasized family fun at a great price," said Legends President/CEO Andy Shea. "and while the 'average' prices in this study are great, this year the Legends are offering a special price of two dollars for hot dogs all season long. Plus we have Kids Eat Free night every Monday, and 38-cent hot dogs on Tuesday, so there are some extra opportunities for our fans to enjoy the fun at the ballpark at a great savings. And if you really want to save, you can sit in the bleachers for only a dollar!"
