
Minor Hockey Coaches Have Opportunity to Learn from Petes GM and Chicago Blackhawks Scout

(Peterborough, ON) - The Peterborough Petes have partnered with the OMHA and Millbrook & District Minor Hockey Association (MDMHA) to offer minor hockey coaches and trainers a valuable development opportunity from some of the OHL and NHL's best.
On Saturday, September 14, 2019 from 11:30am to 4:30pm, the Petes will host a Coaches Clinic that will feature presentations on training, practice, game, and season preparation, as well as a presentation on grit, growth, and leadership led by former Petes and current Chicago Blackhawks Scout Mike MacPherson.
Eligible coaches who complete the one-day clinic will receive three certification maintenance points toward their Hockey Canada coaching levels. Light refreshments will be provided during the Clinic.
The cost of the program is just $30 (HST included), with 100% of the proceeds supporting the MDMHA. Registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis by visiting this link: https://gopetesgo.com/coaches-clinic-registration.
Registration for the Coaches Clinic does not include a ticket to the sold out pre-season game between the Petes and IceDogs on Sept. 14 at 7:05pm.

3:30pm: Building Season Plan with Mike Oke
4:00pm: Grit, Growth & Leadership - Mike MacPherson
The Petes continue practice this week in preparation for their final games of the 2019 OHL pre-season presented by CIBC Wood Gundy Peterborough. On Friday, September 13 at 7:30pm, Peterborough will visit the Niagara IceDogs in Lincoln. They'll face the same IceDogs on Saturday, September 14 at 7:05pm at the new Cavan Monaghan Community Centre in Millbrook.
