Minnesota Wild Reassigns Christoph Bertschy to Iowa

SAINT PAUL, Minn. - Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher announced tonight the National Hockey League (NHL) club has reassigned forward Christoph Bertschy to the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Bertschy, 21 (4/5/94), made his NHL debut in Minnesota's 1-0 shutout victory against Tampa Bay tonight at Xcel Energy Center. The native of Friburg, Switzerland, totaled two shots and one hit in 8:08 of ice time in the contest, becoming the 210th player to appear in a regular-season game for Minnesota all-time. Bertschy has collected six points (2-46) including a power-play and shorthanded goal and eight penalty minutes (PIM) in 12 games with Iowa this season. The rookie ranks T-1st on Iowa in goals and scoring.
