Lynx Notes

Odyssey Sims led the way this afternoon for the Lynx, racking up a team-high 20 points on 9-of-17 shooting, four rebounds and dished out a game-high eight assists. Today marked Sims' 37th career game with 20+ points and was her sixth of the season. Sims also swiped her 200th career steal this afternoon.

Today was Sims' third game with 20+ points/8+ assists, the highest single-season total in Lynx history and the most in the WNBA this season. Maya Moore had two such games in 2016 and Lindsay Whalen with two each in 2010, 2011 and 2014. (via @WBBTimeline).

In 21:02 off the bench, Temi Fagbenle scored 12 points on 5-of-8 shooting and two rebounds. Tonight was Fagbenle's second double-figure scoring effort of the season.

Napheesa Collier was the third member of the Lynx in double figures this afternoon, finishing with 11 points on 4-of-10 shooting, six rebounds and a career-high-tying five assists. Collier added two steals on the afternoon.

Stephanie Talbot started this afternoon for an injured Damiris Dantas (calf). In 27:51 of action, Talbot finished with eight points, three rebounds and three steals.

Jillian Alleyne scored her first WNBA points with a hook shot with 3:28 left in the fourth quarter. Alleyne added two rebounds on the afternoon.

Today was the first time Minnesota has allowed 100+ points since a 100-76 loss at Chicago on July 8, 2017. It was the 14th 100+ point game by a Lynx opponent.
