
Minnesota Lynx Welcome Back Fans to Target Center for Season Opener

MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL - The Minnesota Lynx tip-off against the Phoenix Mercury tonight (8 p.m. CT) at Target Center. Presented by Mayo Clinic, the Lynx welcome back limited season ticket members and fans to Target Center for the season opener.
"We are so excited to welcome back our fans to Target Center," said Minnesota Lynx President of Business Operations Carley Knox. "There's a lot to look forward to this season with the WNBA's 25th anniversary and playing in front of the best fans in the WNBA. We've missed them and the energy they bring to 'our house.'"
Fans can expect a completely contactless experience through the Lynx mobile app. From ticket purchase, resale and transfer to merchandise, food and beverage in-seat ordering and pick up, it all happens from the power of fans' smartphones.
The Lynx 2021 Marketing Campaign was crafted by the in-house marketing team, with the input of players and season ticket members, and is reflective of the team's insatiable desire to push boundaries on and off the court. The Can't Tame Us campaign will come to life visually throughout the season in a variety of creative, including the team's brand spot releasing today, to convey that this team was born to shake convention and defy odds.
The Lynx are competing in its 23rd WNBA season and coming off a trip to the WNBA Semifinals and a 10th straight playoff appearance, tied for the second-longest streak in WNBA history. Head Coach and General Manager Cheryl Reeve and the team are looking forward to competing after an exciting offseason that added Kayla McBride, Aerial Powers and Natalie Achonwa to the existing roster that includes MVP Sylvia Fowles, All-Star Napheesa Collier, reigning Rookie of the Year Crystal Dangerfield, Brazilian sensation Damiris Dantas, and Minnesota's own Rachel Banham.
