Minneapolis-St. Paul - The Minnesota Lynx celebrated the season of giving through volunteering at the Aliveness Project of Minneapolis, serving community members living with HIV.
On Tuesday, the Minnesota Lynx partnered with the Aliveness Project for their annual holiday event. There, Lynx Head Coach and President of Basketball Operations Cheryl Reeve, Lynx forwards Napheesa Collier and Diamond Miller, associate head coach Katie Smith, general manager Clare Duwelius, President of Lynx Business Operations Carley Knox, members of the Lynx staff and Minnesota Lynx President's Circle members had the opportunity to serve the community at various stations to support those in attendance.
We are incredibly proud of our long-standing relationship with the Aliveness Project and honored to once again serve at their annual holiday event," said Knox. "The Aliveness Project does incredible work supporting those living with HIV, and this is a yearly meaningful opportunity for us to connect with the community."
This marks the fourth year of the Lynx volunteering with the Aliveness Project for the holiday season. The Minnesota Lynx have also partnered with the organization to host several HIV/AIDS Awareness Nights at the Target Center over the years, with the first dating back to 2011.
