
Minnesota Lynx Sign Shae Kelley

MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL - The Minnesota Lynx today announced the team has signed forward Shae Kelley for the remainder of the season.
Kelley, a 6-1 forward from the University of Minnesota, was selected in the third round, 35th overall by Minnesota in the 2015 WNBA Draft. She was waived on June 2 after appearing in two preseason games for the Lynx. Minnesota signed Kelley to a seven-day contract on July 28 and re-signed her to a second seven-day contract on Aug. 4. Her WNBA debut was July 31 vs. Atlanta, playing four minutes.
Kelley was named to the All-Big Ten First Team in 2015 and was a three-time Big Ten Player of the Week honoree, while leading the Gophers in steals (56) and ranking second in points (578). She ranked sixth in the Big Ten in scoring, offensive rebounds and double-doubles, seventh in rebounds and defensive rebounds and 15th in steals.
