Minnesota Lynx Sign Olivia Époupa to Training Camp Contract

MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL - The Minnesota Lynx today announced the team has signed guard Olivia Époupa to a training camp contract. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not released.

Époupa, 5-5, is playing in the EuroLeague Women for Cukurova Basketbol Mersin in Turkey and holds season averages of 3.2 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 2.0 steals in 21.8 minutes per game. Her strongest performance of the season occurred in the first game of the EuroLeague Quarterfinals where she amassed 10 points on 66.7% shooting while grabbing 10 rebounds, six assists and three steals in 33 minutes. Époupa owns career averages of 11.8 points, 6.4 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 4.1 steals and helped Team France to a fourth-place finish in the 2016 Rio Olympics.
