
Minnesota Lynx Sign Kayana Traylor and Elizabeth Dixon to Training Camp Contracts

MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL - The Minnesota Lynx today announced the team has signed guard Kayana Traylor and forward Elizabeth "Liz" Dixon to training camp contracts. Per team policy, terms of the deals were not released.
Traylor, a 5-9 guard, was selected 23rd overall in the 2023 WNBA Draft by the Chicago Sky. She joined Chicago in Toronto for the preseason Canada game prior to coming to Minnesota on a 7-day contract on June 26. In eight games with the Lynx, Traylor averaged 1.0 points, 0.4 assists and 0.3 steals in 4.4 minutes per contest. She spent the first three years of her collegiate career at Purdue followed by two years at Virginia Tech. After five seasons, Traylor finished with 156 games played and accumulated totals of 1,499 points, 394 rebounds, 470 assists and 134 steals.
Dixon, a 6-5 forward, made her WNBA debut in 2023 with the Phoenix Mercury. In 10 games with the Mercury, she averaged 2.3 points and 1.3 rebounds in 5.6 minutes played. Dixon also saw time with Connecticut, where she saw action in four games for the Sun. The University of Louisville product's strongest performance came on August 23 against the Sparks when she tallied 12 points in 14 minutes of play. Prior to her time in the WNBA, Dixon spent four years at Louisville where she had played in 134 games for the Cardinals and ended her collegiate career with 740 points, 527 rebounds, 64 assists and 115 blocks.
