Minnesota Lynx Renounce Rights to Guard Kristi Harrower

MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL - The Minnesota Lynx today announced that they have renounced the rights to guard Kristi Harrower. Harrower is now a free agent.
Harrower, originally acquired by the Lynx on Oct. 27, 1999 in a trade with the Phoenix Mercury, had spent the past three seasons on Minnesota's Suspended List, during which she played professionally oversees. A native of Australia, Harrower played parts of four seasons with Minnesota, averaging of 3.8 ppg, 2.4 apg and 1.8 rpg in 96 games.
The Minnesota Lynx open their 11th year of basketball in the Twin Cities on June 6, 2009 vs. the Chicago Sky at Target Center. Season and group tickets for the 2009 season are now on sale.
