
Minnesota Lynx Promote Carley Knox to Lynx President of Business Operations

MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL - Today the Minnesota Lynx announced the promotion of Carley Knox to Lynx President of Business Operations. Knox previously served as the franchise's Vice President of Business Operations. As Lynx President of Business Operations, Knox will continue to lead the organization's Lynx business efforts including ticket sales and service, and serve as the primary liaison between the team and the WNBA on league-wide business and marketing initiatives. "Carley's passion and commitment has had an incredible impact on the success of our franchise," said Timberwolves and Lynx CEO Ethan Casson. "She has been a driving force in our efforts to develop a passionate fanbase while being a champion for social change. I look forward to her leadership as we prepare for the upcoming Lynx season."
Entering her 12th season with the Lynx and her 17th with the WNBA, Knox has been a driving force in the growth of the league. She has led numerous league and industry best practices, including the creation of the Lynx President's Circle program. The Minnesota Lynx have one of the league's largest season ticket member bases, and have won a multitude of business awards highlighted by the WNBA Franchise of the Year. Knox is on the Board of Directors for the Ann Bancroft Foundation, serves on the Bush Foundation Fellows Selection Committee, and is an active member of the WNBA Diversity Hiring Task Force.
